How Long is Lab Access for a Course Available?

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Most of our labs are available for 180 days; however, some of our labs have shorter access, normally 30 days. This limited access may be for any of the following reasons:

1.  It is designated a high resource lab at 30GB RAM or higher
2.  It is designated a high resource lab because it uses public IP addresses
3.  The lab requires a license that restricts the length of access (e.g. Azure passes)

You can view any course’s post-class lab access and course assignment length from “Find Courses.” You can see the expiration date of a student’s lab access on their enrollment or course assignment. A course’s post-class availability begins counting from the end date of the class, giving lab access for the next 180 days in most cases.  For self-paced learning in a course assignment, 180 days is the full length of the assignment and begins counting from the date the course assignment is created in the TMS, not the date that the course assignment was started by the student.

HERE IS HOW YOU FIND IT

1.  From Site Administration on the Courses tile, click Find Courses.
2.  Input the name of the course in the Name filter. Add an output option for Post Class Lab Availability.
3.  Click Search.
4.  The search results show the number of days the lab is available.
5.  If the item is blank, then there is no post class lab access available.
