Microsoft’s AZ-100 Microsoft Azure Infrastructure and Deployment and AZ-101 Microsoft Azure Integration and Security exams are set to retire on May 1, 2019. Both exams are geared towards the Azure Administrator role and the Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate certification. They will be replaced by the AZ-103 exam which is entitled “Microsoft Azure Administrator.”

This retirement comes shortly after Microsoft announced that they are adding performance tasks to their exams (labs.) The new AZ-103 exam will have labs according to this article posted on the Microsoft Learning blog.

Is your organization ready?

To provide students with more extensive hands-on practice and to enable instructors with the ability to monitor students’ progress, we have created and rolled out IT Pro Challenges. It Pro Challenges are goal oriented, short-duration, scenario-based hands-on exercises.  Ideal for cloud technologies, they provide skills development and assessments across multiple platforms and technologies.

Dozens of IT Pro Challenges already map to the Deploy and Manage Virtual Machines competency of the AZ-103 exam, with more on the way.  The good news is you don’t have to choose the challenges you want to offer! Our All Access Pass grants students 365 days of access to our entire library of ever-expanding challenges.
