A reference in this policy to “we,” “us,” or “our” means Learn on Demand Systems. When we refer to “you,” “your,” or “User,” we are referencing the individual user of our website or the “End User” of a product or service. References in this policy to “Clients” or “Customers,” means an entity or organization that contracts with us to provide a product or service to an “End User.”
- Our Collection of Personal Information
We collect information as part of operating our Websites and providing services to you. Depending upon the LODS service you want to access or the website activity that you choose to engage in (each a “Service” and collectively, the “Services”), we will collect information from you. We collect two types of information about our users: Personally Identifiable Information and Non-Personally Identifiable Information. The information we collect depends upon the particular Service you or the Customer choose to engage in, your interactions with us, and your internet browser settings.
Personally Identifiable Information refers to information that enables us to identify who you are, such as your first and last name, email address, mailing address, home and work telephone number, company name, job title, work mailing address, facsimile number, and other similar contact information. Personally Identifiable Information also includes login credentials, including your user ID, password and any other pertinent security details, which are necessary to authenticate and provide you with access to our Services. Certain Non-Personally Identifiable Information may also be defined as Personally Identifiable Information to the extent the two categories of information can be linked together. For users that log in to our Learn On Demand system for services, we collect information regarding the length of time the user spent on a particular training session and we maintain any data that may be generated during the course of a particular training session, which is immediately deleted once such training session is done.
Non-Personally Identifiable Information refers to information that does not by itself enable us to identify a specific individual and includes information such as your device type, the name of the internet browser you use to browse our website, your age, gender, country and preferred speaking language, your web browsing history (i.e. the Uniform Resource Locator (“URL”) for websites), Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, geolocation data including global positioning system data, network name, and internet or telecommunication services provider name. A URL is the global address of documents and other resources available on the World Wide Web (the “Web”). An IP address is an identifier for a computer or device on a Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (“TCP/IP”) network, such as the Web. Networks like the Web use the TCP/IP protocol to route information based on the IP address of the destination computer. In other words, an IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer whenever you are surfing the web, allowing Web servers to locate and identify your computer. Computers require IP addresses in order for users to communicate on the Web.
- How We Collect Your Information
An account is required in order to access our Learn on Demand Systems Services through our website, which requires that you sign in with a Microsoft Account (formerly known as Windows Live ID), a Microsoft Corporate Active Directory Federation Services ID, or a Learn on Demand Systems’ ID (each an “Account”). In each case, a unique user ID and password is required to access the Learn on Demand Systems Services, which requires that we collect and maintain your user ID, passwords, and any other security information that may be required to authenticate the login process to provide you with account access. We will collect and maintain your Personally Identifiable Information when you create an Account or an Account is created on your behalf by a Customer that you have authorized, in accordance with any applicable state, provincial, federal, international law, statute, regulation, ordinance, resolution or data privacy law.
We will request you to provide your Personally Identifiable Information when you communicate directly with us, to subscribe to a newsletter, submit content, complete a survey, sign-up for special offers from selected third-parties, or send us feedback. Each of these Services is entirely optional, but by engaging these Services and providing us with the requested information, you expressly consent to our use of such information to provide you the requested Service. Depending upon the Service you request, some of the information we ask you to provide will be classified as mandatory and some as voluntary. If you do not provide us with the mandatory data for the applicable Service, you will not be able to access or otherwise utilize that Service.
We collect Non-Personally Identifiable Information when you visit our website, such as your device type, the name of the internet browser you use to browse our website, your network server and domain, zip code, area code, age, gender, country and preferred speaking language, IP address, web history, including the URL for the website that you just visited and for the next website you will visit, geolocation data, including global positioning system data, network name, and internet or telecommunication services provider name.
Our site utilizes cookies. When you use our site we will collect information from and store cookies on your computer in order to optimize your user experience by showing you new and relevant content based upon your prior browsing history on our website. A cookie is a small data text file, which a website stores on your computer’s hard drive (if your internet browser permits) that can later be retrieved to identify you to us. Our cookies store a randomly assigned user identification number necessary to keep you logged into our site. You are free to decline our cookies if your browser permits, but some parts of our site will not work properly.
Our website utilizes Google Analytics, which uses automated means to collect information about you, including tracking your behavior while browsing our website. - How We Use Your Information
We use Non-Personally Identifiable Information, including your IP address, geolocation data, cookie data, preferred speaking language, and network information to optimize your user experience with our website and Services, to diagnose problems with our servers, software, and Services, and to understand the demographics of our users and customers.
We do not sell, trade, or lease your Personally Identifiable Information to other parties. We do provide some of our Services through contractual arrangements with service providers. Your Personally Identifiable Information and Non-personally identifiable Information is only used by our Service Providers to the extent necessary to carry out their contractual obligations to us for providing services.
If we receive a court order, subpoena, warrant, or other legal demand from law enforcement or any other governmental, regulatory or judicial authorities seeking disclosure of your Personally Identifiable Information, we will comply with such requests and disclose such Personally Identifiable Information to the appropriate governmental authorities. We also fully cooperate with law enforcement agencies in identifying those who use our services for illegal activities. We reserve the right to report to law enforcement agencies any activities that we believe to be unlawful.
- Your Choices on Our Collection and Use of Your Information
Users that opt-in to receiving email communications regarding our products and services have the option to unsubscribe to such email communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of promotional emails or by requesting us to delete all of your information.
You have choices with respect to cookies. Depending upon your chosen internet web browser, you may have the option to reject all cookies by modifying your browser preferences. Rejecting cookies will limit the functionality of some portions of our website and not all Services will work correctly.
Please be aware that when you voluntarily disclose Personally Identifiable Information (i.e. your name, email address, etc.) in any discussion forums or other public areas on this website, that such information becomes available to be collected and used by third parties, which may result in your receiving unsolicited messages from third parties. Such activities are beyond our control and this Policy does not apply to such information or solicitations that you choose to make public. - Security of Your Information
We value your privacy and take the security of your information seriously. We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the security of your data, including access controls, encryption, and multi-factor authentication. Your Personally Identifiable Information is only accessible by correctly supplying your user ID and password. The password is encrypted. We recommend that you do not divulge your password to anyone. In addition to being password protected, your Personally Identifiable Information resides on a secure server. We also encrypt your Personally Identifiable Information that you transmit to us via our site, which is designed to minimize the risk of an unauthorized parties intercepting and viewing such information.
Non- Personally Identifiable Information is also stored on a secure server and is only accessible by providing a properly authenticated a user-name and password and having access permissions to such data.

Learn on Demand Systems Service
To the extent the information in this section of the Policy differs with any other section or clause, this section shall prevail as it relates to the Learn on Demand Systems Services.
For purposes of the Learn on Demand Systems Services, we act as a data processor on behalf of the Customer, as data controller, as it relates to your (the End User’s) personal data. Under such circumstances, Customer, as the data controller is responsible for providing you with any applicable notices and information about your personal data and effectuating any applicable data rights you have under any applicable European Data Privacy law, including the European Union General Data Protection Regulation, and communicating your instructions to us.
